the photography
Commissioned by World Vision, award-winning photojournalist Nick Danziger travelled to eight of the world's poorest countries to capture these dramatic and compelling images for a public exhibition. Nick visited Armenia, Bolivia, Cambodia, India, Honduras, Niger, Uganda and Zambia and met many people who are living in extreme poverty, suffering from hunger or who are victims of injustice and inequality.

The people in these images remind us that the Millennium Development Goals should not be just meaningless rhetoric; instead these goals provide the lifeline of hope and survival for millions of the world’s poor.
